 About the Parrotheads

Beaches, boats, bars and tropical drinks with those colorful little umbrellas. This is what you think of while listening to "Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads" performing "A celebration of Jimmy Buffett music."

"Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads" are experiencing an expanding popularity while headlining fairs and festivals in not only his own hometown of Placerville, California, but throughout all of the Western United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, and as far away as Florida, Texas, Vermont, Delaware, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Nashville, Tennessee. Garratt and his band have been billed as the #1 Jimmy Buffett tribute band. Garratt says, "Traveling with 'The Parrotheads' is a great way to meet Jimmy Buffett fans and to make new 'Parrothead' friends. We get such a kick out of performing for fans that become just as much a part of the show as we are."

Hey Parrotheads!
It was amazing to party with about 1800 - 2000 people at the Jimmy Buffett Fin Fest Pre-Party and then ride the shuttles to the Jimmy Buffett concert. There are so many people to thank - but most of all, we want to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, Steve Mammet from the Embassy Suites, Steve Hammond from Visit Sacramento, Jeff Savage and his staff from The River Cats/Raley Field, Mumbo Gumbo, Steve Price from Pablo Cruise, the Parrothead Pirates of the California Delta, Latitude38 for believing in us and our commitment to upholding the Buffett tradition right here in Sacramento and all of their help and diligence in putting this event together, Bob Keller from 96.9 The Eagle for keeping us all together and Emceeing our event and all the Parrotheads who came out yesterday and tailgated with us before the concert. It's a pretty impressive thing to look out into the crowd at Golden 1 and see the blue wristbands of all the people who were at Fin Fest. After the concert, it was awesome to ride the shuttle back to Raley Field and see all of the RVs and cars lined up ready to continue the party - we saw people fire their grills back up and open their Tiki Bars! It was like a Buffett Burning Man and we were so happy to be a part of it! We need Jimmy to come back to Sacramento, so we can definitely do it again!!!!!
