drinks with those little umbrellas. That is what you think of while watching and
listening to "Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads" performing "A Celebration of
Jimmy Buffett's Music".
Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads have headlined fairs
and festivals throughout Oregon, Washington, Nevada,
Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Nashville (Tennessee) and
as far away as Anchorage (Alaska), Maui (Hawaii), as
well as the Eastern seaboard and as close as his home
town of Placerville, CA. Their popularity is expanding
throughout North America.
Garratt and his band have been billed as the #1 Jimmy
Buffett tribute band in the nation. Garratt says, "Traveling
with 'The Parrotheads' is a great way to meet Jimmy
Buffett fans and to make new 'Parrothead' friends.
We get such a kick performing for fans that become
just as much a part of the show as we are."
Since their initial transformation from Garratt Wilkin & The
Whiskey Ducks to Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads,
exclusively performing Jimmy Buffett music, the Parrotheads
have performed as a six-piece "core" band and
up to as large as a 13 piece band including Steel
Drums, Horn Section, Harmonica and Pedal Steel
Guitar. Garratt was quoted as saying, "Performing
with the big band gives us the closest representation
of the Coral Reefers and creates the look, feel and sound
of being at a Jimmy Buffett concert."

The 2013 Parrothead Season is officially under way!!!
The 8th Annual Mother's Day event at the Camino Wine Plaza was fantastic! It was great to play in our own backyard and see friends and fans we hadn't seen in a while. We would like to send out a very special thank you to Tom and Pam Findleton from The Findleton Winery and Tommy Findleton from the Stumble Inn Pub for having us back for the 8th year! We would also like to thank Steve Price from Pablo Cruise and his wife Nancy, for surprising us and sitting in on the drums for a couple of songs – we would especially like to send a huge thank you to our hometown fans, who came out ready to dance and have a great time! They almost sold out of Parrothead Red!!!
Saturday, June 1st, You can catch an Acoustic Performance with Garratt at "Rock the Walk II" in Citrus Heights, CA. This event benefits the Walk to End Alzheimer's for the Alzheimer's Association. This is a very worthy cause – Showtime is 4:00 pm with the "ZZ Chops" and Garratt's Trio will take the stage approximately 6:00 pm. The location is 7244 Bonita Way in Citrus Heights, CA. Admission is a donation of $20 Adults/$10 Kids or $50 per family. For more information, please call Dale at 916-768-0061. Bring out your beach blankets and lawn chairs!
Tuesday, June 4th, Garratt will be down in Yucca Valley, CA to play an acoustic event with our friend and keyboard player, Bobby Furgo. You can catch them at Ma Rouge Coffee House, which is located at 55844 Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valley. Showtime is 7:00 to 9:00 pm with a $10.00 cover charge. On Saturday, June 8th, you can catch An Acoustic Trio with Garratt Wilkin at Johnson Springview Park in Rocklin, CA for Brewfest! Showtime is 1:30 pm. Tickets are $25.00 in advance/$30.00 at the gate. This is open to adults 21 years of age or older. For more information, go to southplacerrotary.org! Come on out and get your "Brewfest" going!!!
Saturday, June 15th, The Parrotheads will be making their 3rd appearance at The Rockin' Concert Series in Santa Rosa, CA at the Montgomery Village Shopping Center located at 911 Village Court. Showtime is 12:00-3:00 pm! It'll be great to see everyone again, including Mike Watermann and the gang from 97.7 The River, Classic Rock for the North Bay! Come on out and enjoy the beautiful North Bay weather!!!!
