Beaches, boats, bars & tropical drinks with those little umbrellas. That is what you think of while watching and listening to "Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads" performing "A Celebration of Jimmy Buffett's Music".

Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads have headlined fairs and festivals throughout Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Nashville (Tennessee) and as far away as Anchorage (Alaska), Maui (Hawaii), as well as the Eastern seaboard and as close as his home town of Placerville, CA. Their popularity is expanding throughout North America.

Garratt and his band have been billed as the #1 Jimmy Buffett tribute band in the nation. Garratt says, "Traveling with 'The Parrotheads' is a great way to meet Jimmy Buffett fans and to make new 'Parrothead' friends. We get such a kick performing for fans that become just as much a part of the show as we are."

Since their initial transformation from Garratt Wilkin & The Whiskey Ducks to Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads, exclusively performing Jimmy Buffett music, the Parrotheads have performed as a six-piece "core" band and up to as large as a 13 piece band including Steel Drums, Horn Section, Harmonica and Pedal Steel Guitar. Garratt was quoted as saying, "Performing with the big band gives us the closest representation of the Coral Reefers and creates the look, feel and sound of being at a Jimmy Buffett concert."

WHAT'S NEW

Hey Parrotheads!

We had a great time on our road trip to Arizona! A huge thank you to the Arizona State Fair, Robert the stage manager, and the sound company. Our two dates at Lake Havasu were a blast, too! Thank you to Dan and the staff at the Javelina Cantina. A big thanks to Chewie and the crew at the X, too! And, thank you to Jill Trenholm and the Boyfriends for a great set, opening for us at the X on Sunday! The Cantina and the X are both fine establishments in a really fun little town. We can't wait to go back!

We have some private gigs coming up, but our next public show will be New Year's Eve at the Embassy Suites in Sacramento. It's become a tradition. We've been doing New Year's Eve there for several years, now. Steve Mammett and the crew go all-out to make it a truly memorable experience. There is no cover charge and it's open to the public. Rooms usually sell out by August or September. But, you can still come out and get dinner and drinks and ring in the New Year with your favorite Jimmy Buffett tribute band, and not pay a cover charge! It's a really fantastic thing that Embassy Suites does for the people of Sacramento! So, mark your calendar and plan to celebrate with us at the beautiful Embassy Suites by the Tower Bridge, this New Year's Eve!
