Beaches, boats, bars & tropical drinks with those little umbrellas. That is what you think of while watching and listening to "Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads" performing "A Celebration of Jimmy Buffett's Music".

Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads have headlined fairs and festivals throughout Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Nashville (Tennessee) and as far away as Anchorage (Alaska), Maui (Hawaii), as well as the Eastern seaboard and as close as his home town of Placerville, CA. Their popularity is expanding throughout North America.

Garratt and his band have been billed as the #1 Jimmy Buffett tribute band in the nation. Garratt says, "Traveling with 'The Parrotheads' is a great way to meet Jimmy Buffett fans and to make new 'Parrothead' friends. We get such a kick performing for fans that become just as much a part of the show as we are."

Since their initial transformation from Garratt Wilkin & The Whiskey Ducks to Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads, exclusively performing Jimmy Buffett music, the Parrotheads have performed as a six-piece "core" band and up to as large as a 13 piece band including Steel Drums, Horn Section, Harmonica and Pedal Steel Guitar. Garratt was quoted as saying, "Performing with the big band gives us the closest representation of the Coral Reefers and creates the look, feel and sound of being at a Jimmy Buffett concert."

WHAT'S NEW

Hey Parrotheads!

The weather is warming up, the drought is over in Northern California and we're gearing up for our 18th season!   We've unpacked our shorts and flip flops and bought new sunscreen and we're ready to go!

We are starting the season with a couple of private parties this year - one in Camino, CA and one in Tucson, AZ, but this year, we kick off our season to the public on Saturday, May 26th at the GE Family Concert Series in Minden, NV!  We have played this show many times and are excited about going back to the beautiful town square park located at 1604 Esmeralda Avenue.  Showtime is 6:00 pm and is free to the public.  It's time to dig out and clean those lawn chairs and beach blankets just in time to get them over to the park in Minden!

Sunday, May 28th, you can catch The Naked Parrots at Powell's Steamer Co & Pub, located at 425 Main Street in Placerville, CA, right across from the world famous Bell Tower!  Our showtime there is 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  We will be filming and recording this acoustic performance and are calling all Parrotheads to dress up for the occasion!  We want to see you there in all of your Parrothead costumes and help us create a great video!  There is no cover charge and they do have a great restaurant with numerous food specials and 27 beers on tap - and don't forget their selection of wines from local vitners!

Friday, June 9th is our annual Fin Fest at Raley Field in West Sacramento!  Raley Field is located at 400 Ballpark Drive in West Sacramento!  Showtime is 5:00 pm.  After the show, stay and root on the Sacramento River Cats as they take on the Reno Aces at 7:00.  Tickets and other information can be found by calling Raley Field at 916-376-4700 or by visiting their website at http://www.raleyfield.com./  Want to win tickets to watch the game in the box with The Parrotheads?  Stay tuned for a trivia contest that will give you the chance to win tickets to come join The Parrotheads for the game in our air conditioned box!

Saturday, June 23rd, we're back at the CSD Concert in the Park Series in El Dorado Hills!  Come see us in the beautiful outdoor park located at 1021 Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills, CA!  The show is free to the public and starts at 7:00 pm!  Mark your calendar and join us for this great outdoor concert in the Sierra Nevada foothills!  It's just a short drive from the Sacramento Valley!
